The 14-day rule

How long you have to send an e-invoice.

Last checked: September 30, 2026

You must issue and send the e-invoice through the e-invoicing system within 14 days from the date of the sale.

  • The same rule applies to credit notes.
  • If you are registered for VAT, the time limits of the VAT law also apply.
  • If an e-invoice or credit note is not sent on time, the penalty is AED 100 for each one, up to AED 5,000 per calendar month.

In YallaBill, every invoice will show how many days are left.
